Report on Women's Summit
Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19 ESV
80 women from around the country gathered outside Tulsa, OK for our first-ever Women’s Leadership Summit. We have discussed the possibility of gathering our women leaders for quite some time, but after last fall’s Men’s Leadership Summit, it was determined it was time for the ladies. The format was very similar to the men’s summit, but many of the women in attendance were brand new to Influencers and unfamiliar with our leadership structure and our DNA.
We saw some of the same blessings we saw with the men in the “light bulb moments” as they started to connect the dots of their experience with The Journey to the greater mission of Influencers. We also saw the deep work of the Spirit, ministering to many troubled souls. And we saw many new friendships formed as ladies got to know each other from different cities. It was very special and we feel a flame was fanned into fire with the Women’s branch of Influencers. It is going to be so exciting to see what God does next!
