Fellow Influencers:
One of our Tulsa Journey Brothers, Steve Warrick, is asking for prayer as they just discovered that their college son, Luke, took his own life a few days ago. Please pray for Steve, Clara and their daughter, Maggie for comfort and peace during this most difficult time of tragedy.
The family also asked us  to include this verse, to which they are clinging.
For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39
If you would like to send the family a message, you can do so below.

  • Oh Steve, I’m at a loss for words. My heart aches for you and your family! Please know that the Coles have you all wrapped in prayer!

  • Dear Warrick. My name is Richard from California, I am an Influencer brother in Christ. Me and my wife would like to send our thoughts and prayers to you and your family during this time of sorrow. May the Lord our God be with you and your family. Much love and prayers my brother. God bless

  • You have my deepest condolences. You and you family will be in my prayers. May the grace of God which surpasses all understanding be with you always.

  • Steven my brother, you don’t know me, but I am praying for you and Clara and Maggie. Lord please give them comfort and the support of good friends to help them through this tragic time. I know you love this family and that you love Luke. Please help them to stay strong and not lose any of their love for you and in the help you will bring to them.

    • I certainly share your sadness and grief, remembering our son-in-law took his life mid-July, 2019.
Psalms 28:7 was and is a significant encouragement for me: “The Lord is my strength and my shield, my heart trusts in him and I’m helped, therefore I’m grateful, and with my song/life I will thank him.”
We commit to continue to ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen and encourage you and your family.

  • Brother Steve, my heart goes out to you and Maggie and your entire family. I pray for comfort and healing that comes with God’s presence.

  • Steve, Clara, and Maggie. May God draw you even closer and surround you with grace, comfort, and peace. May the Holy Spirit give you the words to pray when all of our understanding fails us.

  • Dearest Steve, Clara and Maggie- We can’t imagine your horrific shock and grief. The depth of pain is beyond our comprehension. We place that pain in the hands of our Lord who knows all of your pain. Here are some of the words of David in Psalm 34
    17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them;
he delivers them from all their troubles.
18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Oh dear friends, our heart breaks with you. May He save you from your despair knowing the Lord NEVER left Luke and now holds him close. So glad for your wonderful parenting that brought Luke to know the Lord and treasure Him. May you rest assured the Lord knew of this in advance. You are fantastic parents and have placed him in the home of the Lord. Luke has always been special to our family, in particular Sam. He will always be in our hearts.
If we can do anything, we will do it. (both available anytime, mostly retired)

  • Our deepest sympathy to the Warwick family. From a Chaplain who have been involved in these situations. Our love and prayers are with you.
